![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Lacara Region Pokémon Lab The Lab is a small building near where Route 1 begins. It overlooks the ocean and has a field surrounding its front, and a beach area in the back. Some areas are fenced, for Pokémon to stay in. The path leading from its doors travels through the cute, pleasant plains of Route 1. Come here to get your first Pokémon!

![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Route 1 This area is basically just a large plains area, with a path running through the center and leading towards Plansburg. It's a very cute area, with small Pokémon playing near the path and the scent of grass wafting through the air.
| 14 | 112 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Plansburg (3 sub-boards) A tiny, pleasant, stereotypical-suburban town. The inhabitants are friendly, there are cute little houses lining the roads, and trainers are held in high esteem here. The first Gym is found in the center of town.
| 4 | 7 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Route 2 The grass in the plains has grown taller, here, and it's difficult to wade through all the tall grass on your way to Erba Village. Pokémon often are well-concealed, and there's not really any areas devoid of the tall grass. Battles might be tough here, if you stray from the path.

![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Erba Village (5 sub-boards) A town that's much larger than Plansburg, and that's renowned throughout the Lacara Region for its beautiful plant life. Well-tended gardens are seen everywhere, and there is a herb shop stocked with all sorts of medicines. It's a very peaceful place. The second Gym is found here.
| 3 | 3 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Route 3 This route is leading up to the mountains, and the lush grass is finally thinning out. The air is foggy, and that fog is thick. Watch yourself, don't trip, and try to keep your guard up; the Pokémon love to jump out and spook travelers. Though normal- and grass-types are still the most commonly-seen in this area, the occasional ghost- or fighting-type might show up.

![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Feather Road (1 sub-board) This path travels up the mountains, heading towards The Roost. The road is perilous and steep, and one wrong move could send you tumbling down... which is likely, considering that the fog has grown thicker still way up high. It's tough to breathe, and the flying-type Pokémon for which the area is named are very territorial. Watch your step...

![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | The Roost (3 sub-boards) A small, rugged town nestled deep in the mountains, The Roost is populated mostly by morphs, who are stronger and better at adapting than humans. They've become accustomed to the high altitude, and they're very hardy, hunting for their food and proud of their strength. They don't like humans much, so if you're a human traveler moving through the town, keep on your best behavior. There's a Gym here.
| 1 | 1 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Route 4 Finally getting out of the mountains, Route 4 leads towards Anque Harbor, and the air is warming up, starting to smell like salt. Land-dwelling water-types might be wandering around, along with Pokémon from the mountains. The ground is rocky and the mist is finally fading.

![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Anque Harbor (4 sub-boards) Hardly a town so much as it is a port, there's a Pokémon Center here, but that's about it. However, you can catch a ferry to Dosa Island, which will take you to Leauae Port.
| 1 | 1 | |
| Dosa Island |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Leauae Port (5 sub-boards) After taking the ferry from Anque Harbor, you'll end up here. Leauae Port is a huge city; high-tech, heavily-populated, and the center of everything. Humans mainly populate the town, and here, Pokémorphs are the minority; discrimination is incredibly high. There is a Gym in this town.
| 3 | 3 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Route 5 Though there's a path leading through his route, it's pretty much the only solid ground you'll find in Route 5. This area is just a huge marsh, smelly and sticky. The wild Pokémon will probably be submerged in the muck, so if you want to see what the area has to offer... yeah. Roll up your sleeves.

![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Route 6 (1 sub-board) Another grassy route, Route 6 is very pleasant, with a moist feel to the air. There's a large lake in the center of the route, not far from the path, and there are puddles everywhere, the grass wet.

![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Umerin Town (5 sub-boards) This town is not pleasant. At all. Dark, shady, and run down, you have to constantly watch your back when traveling through here. Prostitutes wander the streets, thugs and gangs hide in the alleys, and the homeless sleep against the sides of buildings. Best get through here as fast as possible... There's a Gym in the center of town.
| 3 | 3 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Route 7 (1 sub-board) Coming from a shady town, a shady and spooky route only makes sense. Route 7 is a thick, dark, scary forest, foggy and cold no matter what the season or weather outside of the forest. There is a path, but it's faded and nearly overgrown with grass and weeds; make sure not to get lost, as mischievous ghost- and dark-types love to torment travelers...

![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Shinou Village (5 sub-boards) A pure, clean, and almost unearthly place, Shinou Village is probably the most peaceful area in the Lacara Region. No fighting (Pokémon battle or not) is permitted except for inside the Gym, and discrimination is looked down upon. The people here are very peaceful, if not a bit scary what with how calm they always seem to be. The forest surrounds Shinou Village, but it seems more tranquil than scary from this point on.
| 3 | 3 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Route 8 (1 sub-board) The trees of the forest are thinning out, and the air smells wonderful, flowers coating the bases of every tree. The grass is green, and Route 8 is generally a very peaceful place, much like Shinou Village.
| 0 | 0 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Route 9 (2 sub-boards) Suddenly contrasting the peaceful, grassy, beautiful look of Route 8, Route 9 is barren and icy, with underground caves beneath your feet as you walk down the path. The Pokémon here are very tough, and the weather is harsh.
| 1 | 1 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Chimi Town (5 sub-boards) Snowy all-year-round, Chimi Town is like a winter wonderland... That is, of course, unless you don't like snow. The inhabitants are generally a bit wary of travelers, and not too friendly, but they enjoy their home quite a lot. There's a Gym here.
| 3 | 3 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Route 10 (1 sub-board) The here is as barren as in Route 9, but with a huge difference; it's incredibly hot. This dry, awful desert is sandy and has very harsh winds blowing through it, sand-blasting any travelers brave enough to travel through. The Pokémon have grown tough due to the rugged weather conditions, though some prefer to live in the underground caves here. Dragon-type Pokémon dwell in these caves, but they're strong... Watch out.

![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Ry Valley (4 sub-boards) Though still warm and breezy, Ry Valley is far more hospitable than Route 10. The breeze is gentler, and the people here are very friendly, since visitors aren't common. The final Gym is here; hopefully, you've stocked up one ice-types from Route 9...
| 2 | 2 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Route 11 (1 sub-board) The final route on Dosa Island, this area is very pleasant, and the wild Pokémon are docile. The path leads through a warm, grassy area, which leads up to a beach. Seems like a dead end, right? It is. If you want to get to the final island, it's up to you to decide how you do it; no ferry. Get to it.

| Tremo Island |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Route 12 (1 sub-board) If you manage to reach Tremo Island, upon hitting land you'll see that the entire island, though small, is incredibly inhospitable. It's a volcanic island, with geysers and lava pools and the occasional active volcano. The Pokémon are violent and incredibly strong; make it through these conditions to reach The Plateau and you're in the final stretch.

![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | The Plateau (2 sub-boards) This is it. Atop an inactive volcano in a (very secure, don't worry) building resting on a thick steel flooring, the Elite Four waits. Rest up, stock up on healing items, and prepare for the final battle.

| Exal Island |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Abandoned Power Plant (1 sub-board) A huge building, the Power Plant was abandoned long ago, but now electric-types inhabit the area. From the inside and out the Plant looks rather run-down, with ivy growing up the sides outside and everything broken and dusty inside. Don't let that fool you; there's plenty of energy in the Pokémon.
| 2 | 13 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | The Falls (2 sub-boards) In the middle of an almost tropical-seeming forest is a huge lake, and a tall waterfall majestically running into it. The area is always very pretty, and warm no matter what the season.
| 1 | 16 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Ghost Town (1 sub-board) This old town was probably abandoned long ago, since all the buildings are old-fashioned, dusty, and run-down. The area surrounding it is sandy and barren, and though the usual ground- and fighting-types are commonly found scrounging around for food, ghost-types also lurk in the buildings.
| 2 | 17 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | The Lighthouse (1 sub-board) This lighthouse is old and abandoned, the paint faded (you can hardly see the stripes anymore), the inside moist and moldy, the steps eroding. Not many Pokémon are found here; some Rattata, a few Wingulls flying in and out through the windows, but nothing special. However, at the top, a light still glows brightly. No one's tended to the Lighthouse in ages... What could it be?
| 1 | 6 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | The Sea (1 sub-board) Ahh, the big blue! Since Lacara Region is stretched over a series of islands, of course those islands are surrounded by the ocean. Plenty of wild Pokémon lurk beneath the depths; if you have a Pokémon that knows Surf and Dive or are a morph capable of exploring this place yourself, why not see what you can find?
| 1 | 2 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Mount Sauveur (1 sub-board) This huge mountain is the tallest in Lacara Region, and has expansive caves inside that go on for miles. Asides from that, Mount Sauveur is rather uninteresting; wild Pokémon here and there, nice view from the top, but that's it. However, it's rumored that Nosepass and Magneton will change when leveled up here...

![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Move Tutor A small cottage in a more pleasant, grassy area of Exla Isle, this tiny building houses the Move Tutor. He will happily teach your Pokémon any move you would like them to learn (for a price), so long as it's a move they would be able to learn by TMs, HMs, or leveling-up.
| 1 | 1 | |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Daycare Center Want your Pokémon to level up a bit? Leave them with the Daycare Center and, for a small fee, the couple in charge will raise your Pokémon for you! Also, the Daycare couple will breed your Pokémon. The Daycare Center is a large, cute building near the Move Tutor, surrounded by grassy fields and with fenced play-areas for Pokémon.
